Location sharing
Reassure your loved ones by letting them follow your trip as you drive! Simply send them a link allowing them to follow your trip in real-time on an interactive map. You can control the sharing duration, and can revoke the link anytime.
The data is updated in real time, and you can adjust the sharing duration according to your preferences, or revoke the link at any time. This feature is included in the DriveKit SDK, making integration into your mobile application seamless.
New trip analysis data
Did you know that trip analysis provides more than a hundred driving indicators? These data offer a comprehensive view of driver behavior, trip context, and driving conditions:
- Driving scores: safety, distraction, eco-driving, and speed.
- Safety and distraction events.
- Detailed statistics and road type.
- Raw GPS data, recorded at a frequency of 1 Hz.
At the beginning of 2025, we have enriched the available information with:
- Speed limits throughout the trip.
- Detailed weather conditions.
The driver can access these data right after the trip, and they can be instantly transmitted to your data lake through our push data service.
DriveKit SDK Version 2.10.0
Here are the key updates you need to be aware of if you plan to update DriveKit SDK to the latest version (2.10.0) released in January.
DriveKit SDK is now compatible with Android 8.0 (API 26) and above. We strongly recommend configuring your application to support at least Android 8 or newer versions.
On iOS, we have enhanced the trip analysis data schema. When updating, please account for these changes in your application.
End of support for Android 6 and 7
Most Android smartphones have a battery saver mode to reduce the power consumption of installed apps.
On Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices running Android 15, the MIUI (HyperOS) interface has been updated. To help your users configure their smartphones, feel free to refer to our tutorials.
